Warehouses

Warehouses often suffer from settlement resulting in floor slopes that are unacceptable for automatic high-bay forklift stacking devices and other similar operations. We bring the buildings back to the acceptable levels.

Relevelling

Warehouses often suffer settlement. The reasons for such settlement are various and need to be understood to rectify the situation effectively. Usually the reason is related to poor compaction of the material immediately under the floor slab or sub-soil settlement. This settlement often results in floor slopes that are unacceptable for automatic high-bay forklift stacking devices and other similar operations.

Where appropriate, Mainmark supplements sub-soil investigation works by the client, assessing subsoil conditions before and after treatment by measuring the compaction of the subsoil using portable hand operated dynamic penetration measurement devices.

Mainmark’s work brings the buildings back to acceptable levels and slopes using techniques likened to 'key hole surgery'. The work is carried out with the minimum of disruption to the occupant. In many cases the occupant can remain in occupation of the warehouse throughout the remediation process.
